God’s Perfect Path

The path that has brought me to you has not been an easy one. I have walked through some pretty hard and even dark days dealing with unexplained health issues, marriage struggles, anxiety, depression, anger, grief, and hiding behind various masks, all while pursuing a plan and purpose for my life without patiently waiting on God to show me His perfect path.

The good news is that I surrendered! Granted, God used an emergency eye surgery at the beginning of a pandemic, and five weeks of restricted bed rest to help bring me to this submission, but I surrendered. It was then that several realizations happened. I needed to start depending on God more than people to meet my needs, and if I wanted to see change happen around me, I had to allow Christ to first change me.

Because of that surrender, I am experiencing the fulfillment of my dream to write and speak and answers to long-standing prayers to use my story to spotlight God’s glory! One of my favorite life verses is Romans 8:28: “And we know that in all things, God works for the good of those who love Him, who have been called according to His purpose.” It brings me such joy to be able to live out my passion to help others, like you, to know the truth of who God is so that you can live free in who God has created and purposed you to be. I would love to connect with you! Send me a message through the contact page or find me on social media. Let’s journey together on the perfect path God has for us.

Fun Facts

I love being with people, but I also love being alone.  I am more of a night owl than an early bird.  I like to sing, act, and dance.  I am more of a realist than an optimist.  I feel deeply and care deeply, so I can get burdened and overwhelmed easily.  I’d rather clean and organize than cook.  I’m not a comedian, but I’m occasionally witty.  I love encouraging others, but I am often my worst critic.  I like heartwarming, underdog, rising from the ashes, based on a true story movies.  Someday I would love to see a musical on Broadway!

I am a wife to a humble and gracious man, a mom to four wonderfully unique kids, and we make our home in sunny Southern Arizona. I enjoy writing to inspire and encourage others, and I love teaching God’s word. I also have the privilege of serving as the Content & Ministry Coordinator for a non-profit ministry called Reclaimed Story.  A childhood dream came true September 27, 2021 when I of published my first children’s book, Connor Learns To Honor. You can find it on Amazon.

I am far from perfect, but I love my family, I enjoy serving others, I look to God for help, and I am thankful for grace and growth each and every day.
